The Quickening shortlisted for Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize

Michelle Hoover’s novel The Quickening has been shortlisted for the 2010 Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize.  The author of the winning book will receive $10,000 and the six other shortlisted authors will receive $1,000 each.
