Olga Grjasnowa at McNally Jackson

March 2, 2014 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Olga Grjasnowa, author of All Russians Love Birch Trees, at McNally Jackson Bookstore for a Festival Neue Literatur panel entitled “Search for Roots: Exile’s Revolving Doors.”  In a discussion moderated by Tess Lewis, authors Abbas Khider, Richard Weihe, Keith Gessen, and Olga Grjasnowa will discuss the question:  Are we all ‘rootless cosmopolitans’ now? An ever-increasing population of exiles and refugees travel the world bearing private burdens of trauma and conflict, at home everywhere and nowhere. What is rootedness today?
